Can I keep or transfer my number if I’m on a free trial?

During your free trial, we assign you a temporary Slice number so you can explore the service and see if it’s right for you.

To help prevent misuse and keep things fair for everyone, numbers provided during the trial can’t be transferred to another network (ported out) unless you’ve activated a paid plan.

Once you’ve completed your first plan purchase, the number becomes yours to keep — and you’ll be free to transfer it elsewhere anytime if you choose.

Have a number you’d like to keep? You can port it in at any time during sign-up or after starting a plan.
