Why isn't my data working abroad?

Maybe your data is fed up with the 9-to-5 grind. But that’s no excuse to not work. Usually, this happens because the “Data roaming” isn’t turned on (happens to the best of us). To switch data roaming on for your SIM, go to settings click on the SIM and click "Data roaming" > "On".

It could also be because the eSIM is switched off, or you have Airplane mode on, or you’re in an area with poor signal. Check these issues out and restart your device.

Or you may have run out of your monthly EU roaming allowance, you can check this in the app on the Plans section. If you have run out, you can start your next monthly plan early to get access to more EU monthly roaming allowance.

We also need to note that our eSIMs are only enabled for EU roaming so if you are in any other countries apart from the EU or UK, your phone won’t work. Booooo. If you're still having problems contact our Help Team via live chat on our website or app.
